Flower and Song: the flowers - the gifts we receive; the songs - our offerings we leave behind. These are my public markings of both, offered in gratitude.

I could just watch this clip all day!
I have, repeatedly.
Viejo!
That is my favorite movie, my favorite scene, and my favorite quote! "Zorba, teach me to dance", is the same question the apostles asked of Jesus - "Lord, teach us to pray". Dancing and praying - it's all the same thing.
"Dancing and praying - it's all the same thing."
That brings back a memory of Mom, who collected aphorisms and posted them around the house that pop up in moments like this, reminding me:
"Every thought is a prayer."
Thanks for bringing Mom along with you, Dedalus, reminding me to weed the Garden of Thoughts/Prayer in the Dance.
Dance, hermano, dance!
i remember once you telling me to dance it was good for the spirit. now...
Every day I can on these gimpy legs o' mine! ; ) And if the day comes they won't do it anymore - there's still plenty more to move! After all, I am my mom's kid.
How many days I have wasted without laughter...
that is changing now..... :) and thanks for the reminder.
