Popeye headed out. Enough of this being on land! He's back on the water, so for those of you who like to live vicariously, who also wish they could hit the open water, live on a dime, call a bag of rice a bed and live lightly and free - this is for you. At the moment he's part of a crew sailing relief supplies down to Haiti. Here's a short clip of an earlier trip this year by the same group.

I applaud their endeavor, but will stay landlocked, thank you!
Where else can you get fun, excitement, adventure -- and at the same time, contribute to something very honorable and compassionate!?
*Mazel Tov to Popeye and the entire staff and crew!

Thanks, that was beautiful on so many levels.
tell popeye thanks for the ride! I loved every wave we went thru with the wind in my face.... watching the horizon, tho crumbled, is still full of love as evidenced by those who come into it's piers.... and leave only to return with more......
Ah, so amazing! Thanks!
Nice to share this little ride through the Caribbean with y'all. Thanks for coming along - for sharing the Ride [and I mean that in all senses].
Today they would have reached Haiti, but due to some mechanical problems have had to divert to Jamaica for repairs.
They're in good spirits, sailing through daily storms, meeting the challenges one after another. A good lesson for us all. Now, if only I could remember that!
Mission completed. After many unexpected turns, delays, repairs, storms and red tape the crew unloaded their load yesterday and sailed away from Haiti today. They're headed north eventually up the east coast to Maine for the summer. You can click on their Facebook page for more. They're looking for crew, Tarzan. ; )
What's next for Popeye? We'll all find out together; depends which way his winds blow....
